The New Year
I am starting this a day late, so I will be posting two entries after this. I have never kept a single New Year’s resolution, and I don’t know if this year will be the year that one sticks, but I’m going to try. Since this blog originally started as my way of keeping family and friends updated on my travels abroad, and I will not be going abroad this year (that I know of; one can only dream…), I feel the need for a new project.
I plan to take and post a picture each day this year, along with a small explanation or thought along with the picture. I’m also going to try to keep up with my previous trend of naming my posts using song titles. The first two photos will fall under today’s date (which, since it is now past midnight, will be January 3, 2010, but they are the photos for January 1 and 2). January 3, then, will come later tonight, and hopefully I will be able to keep up with posting every day from now on.
