Beginnings
I’ve tried to start blogging before and have never really kept up with it, mostly because I never felt like I had much to write about. However, now I have a reason to finally start and maintain one: in just over two months, I’ll begin a semester studying abroad in London! I’m both very excited and very nervous because I have never traveled outside of the United States, let alone lived in another country. As an Art History major, however, I know that a semester in London will provide me with some incredible opportunities to study various forms, periods, and styles of art and architecture firsthand, and hopefully gain some more understanding about what a career in the museum field entails. I’m hoping to use this blog both to keep in touch with people since I will have limited phone contact with most friends and family, and also to generally keep people updated on my semester abroad. Until that point, I may post from time to time about getting ready for my trip or random unrelated things.
