Leaving So Soon
I’m leaving for New York two weeks from tomorrow, and London two weeks from this Saturday. I just finished UNpacking yesterday what I brought home in December, so I haven’t even started thinking about what I’m going to pack from London and how I’m going to pack it. There’s still so much left to do before I leave and I can’t believe how little time there is to do it all. It’s really strange that not only will I not be back at Willamette until August, but also that I’m going to be living in another country for three-and-a-half months. I’m both very excited and very nervous.
On another note, I decided to title each entry in this blog after a song title to keep with the theme of the blog name itself. I don’t know why this is important or relevant to anything, but I thought it would be fun. Because I do nerdy things like that.
Also, I just got my new camera a few days ago, so I thought I would post a few pictures of things I’ll miss when I’m away. I’m hoping that once I’m in London I’ll be doing both text and picture updates about once a week (maybe more, if I get motivated enough).
Here are a few things I’ll miss about being home (as I do when I’m in Oregon):
